Ok so if u have not heard the term bff then u are not up to date with the current simplifications. BFF = best fren forever..

Ok why bring it up? Well basically we all know Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie were bff's rite, but then Nicole decided to get married and pregnant and give birth. With all the new responsibilities as a mum and wife she can no longer have those partying days thus lead her to announce that she's moving into a different phase of life. That gives birth to the reality series where Paris starts searching for a new bff!! (ok technically the last f means forever which means it cant change wan, but wat the heck, they are juz words rite).

This inspired XiaXue to say, "I want a new bff too!!!" Cos well lets face it, all her friends were getting married and working while she earns juz by being nocturnal and blogging away...

Series..

Ok...eventhough I'm attempting to switch into the all study mode, it still doesn't mean I don't watch series. Not a good thing? Well thankfully I don't find the urgency to watch any of the Korean dramas which I can get so addicted to...Yeah!!..

But anyway, it was a while ago when I decided on the few series I would follow. At first I pick One Tree Hill....that was a must watch!! Romance and basketball seems to be a good storyline to follow..sadly enough there are not enough OTH fans around..haih...

Then I watch Heroes as well. Couldn't help not watching bcos I actually saw the 1st season back in Malaysia and wat happens when u start watching the 1st season, yea, u get hooked and u try to follow to continue the never-ending storyline.

Nope, I didnt watch prison break. I noe some of u guys are gonna kill me for this but then I noe its good, I've seen a couple of episodes and its really very exciting/interesting but then considering I didnt follow the 1st season, I might as well spare myself from getting addicted to it. Well at least not yet la....maybe wait for one of the other series to end or die down. But I'm sure eventually one day I will watch Prison Break.

Gossip Girl!! ah, this is a chick series. While I'm sure some of u ppl noe that my fav genre of movies is romance/romantic comedy (guys who like chick flicks are a rare species!!). Up till now I cannot find any other guy who shares the same interest in romantic movies like me. Just like Heaven, How to lose a guy in 10 days, 27 dresses, Made of Honor, Definitely Maybe, The Notebook, Love Actually, 10 things I hate about u, wah all these are so chun man...lol...not to say I dont like action or suspense but if I were to choose, I'd go for romantic comedy 1st..back to gossip girl, I've been wanting to watch this, but I keep forgetting to get the 1st season of those who have it. Can someone remind me?? lol...

I watched the 1st few seasons of Smallville. Then I stopped, cos it got confusing, and too many ppl on the show having powers. but then I heard it was season finale of season 7 so I decided to just watch that last episode. Now I'm into the season 8. I never did actually follow much about the Clark-Lana storyline. Wats the point, eventually we noe Clark is gonna fall in love with Lois instead. As for now, Smallville can change its name to Superman adi. The show takes it to the point where Clark shifts to Metropolis, works at the Daily Planet, and is Lois's partner there. Lana is now missing/gone/kapoot/byebye. Why bother calling it Smallville, when its not at Smallville!!

The downside of watching all these up to date, is we gotta wait a week for that one episode. The next episode of Smallville featured Lois being tortured and admitting to the kidnapper that she loves Clark, right in front of him!! And its only out on Thursday!! which means the torrent releases on Friday night..Thats a week from now!!!!....haih.....no choice lo...

Some ppl can lead double lives. They can be good, caring, strong yet in front of other ppl can be wild and easy influenced. Can ppl really live like that? Leaving your old life behind to change for the better yet reaping at every occasion to fish back a bit of the fun and unethical lifestyle they used to have. Are u being fair to yourself? Are u being fair to God? Are u being fair to the frens who care about u? What if I only like ur good side but despise the wild side? I may be insignificant but ppl who u care dearly for might be thinking the same thing. Of new housemate and lecturer...

Right, so in life we tend to meet many people. And mostly everybody imparts something to you and it becomes a memory for you to take home. I've had many things on during this past few weeks and most of them had interactions with old nad new people.

1st, yes my housemate decided that he is loaded with cash and bought a house for himself(and his sis for the time being) to live in. As my Caufield home is the 1st place I've stayed in other than my house, Paul and Renald are my first housemates. Living with housemates can really be a whole new experience, especially if they tend to be in the same age group as you. Having to work on the house, cook(the once in 100 blue moons that I actually cook), trying not to make noise in the middle of the night as well as hanging out together are all experiences in life. But since Paul has moved out, I had to rough it out to support myself for 2 months without one less housemate. By roughing out I mean the sudden increase in rent and bills and internet etc. But I've got a new housemate now, his name is Robert Saunders. Technically there are some similarities between Rob and Paul. They are the same age group(hehe), working ppl, disciplined, never on any computer games and well-mannered. They have differences too, Rob sleeps early, isnt on the internet while Paul can be seen online at 1am..lol..So Rob is my 1st angmoh housemate, not that I'm racist but we do differ in culture. But Rob being Rob, he's polite, has his vast experience on India and he usually sleeps when I get home on weekends and leave before I get up. Saturday was soccer day. Rob is in charge of soccer so he also takes the initiative to wake me up for soccer. Everyone in soccer knows I'm the guy who always turns out an hour late for soccer, it was about to change now that Rob is here. Soccer started at 9am, highlight about Rob, he woke me up at 7.20am...

Ok moving on, I juz had a lecture on Introductory Personal Finance. This subject is really different as they change lecturers very frequently. One person does the finance, a different lecturer does tax and now another new lady lecturer teaches risks. Lecture was from 2.15 to 4.15. I went in at 2.15, and came out at 2.45! Lol...if you ever want to experience the worst lecturer in your life, head on over to Melbourne University and make sure u take the subject called Intro Personal Finance. Wanna know why? An average 60 slide lecturer is to be completed in 2 hours. That includes explanation and examples. Now wat happens if you complete 15 slides in 15 minutes? Wat are u suppose to do for the extra hour free? If she took at least 3 minutes for a certain slide, then there were some slides that was done in lets say 3 seconds? lol. Quote: err about this, nah u dun have to worry about it! #$%^&*%$ wat kinda dumbass lecturer says that??? Worst of all, even I can lecture the subject if I do it like her. How? Simple la, juz take the notes read it aloud to the class and move on...er hello....we didnt go to lecture to teach us how to read??? Lol..if I wanted to read the notes I wouldnt even have walked all the way to the medical building juz to attend the stupid lecture...argh...the university fees are a rip off.I demand a refund!!! Is there a complain department??? Gosh..I still cant believe she wasn't assesed before given permission to teach. Right about 10 mins after the lecture started people already started walking out. By the time I walked out, half the ppl had adi left. I kinda pity the lecturer with ppl walking out right in front of her...haha, but I myself walked out as it was a waste of time and I rather spend that time blogging about it...yea, thats wat I'm doing now..

There u have it, ppl imparting memories into u. A person who lived with me in the past leaving memories of housemate bonding, a new housemate currently, who will leave memories to me and of course a shitty lecturer whom I will remember for all the wrong reasons..

You know how people love the guitar or the piano...and there are superb soloist in both those instruments...

I'm talking musical instruments here..yea, u can see a lot of videos on youtube showing piano ballade pour ade(watever la...) or guitar playing superb plucking...

As a violinist(once was), I still remember I learnt violin because my mom said I had to learn violin before learning the guitar when I said I wanted to learn guitar...

Come to think of it, I think my mum wanted me to learn violin but then gave that lame excuse when I said I wanted to learn guitar..
.
After reachin grade 5 I stopped playing cos my interest in it wasn't that great and I wasted huge amounts of money getting that new violin, din bring it to Australia though..
.
But come to think of it, learning violin wasn't that bad either, and to me, its juz one of the most unsung hero in music.
.
No, I'm not talking classical music cos its rather obvious how important the violin is in an orchestra. But juz for example the song Canon in D was MADE for violin, u can play it on piano, and play it on guitar normal or rock style, its never gonna beat violin with its vibrato...
.
.
But back to normal pop music, many people don realise how important violin's harmonising is in the song...I think Jay Chou does..hehe.
.
Wanna hear? Go listen to An Jing(nice), Zui Hou De Zhan Yi(nice), Hei Se You Mo, Feng(nice), Ge Qian, Gui Ji, Kai Bu Liao Kou(very obvious), Long Juan Fong, Ye De Di Qi Zhang(the whole main minor notes are in violin) and hear the chorus, the great effect a violin brings!!

Maybe thats why I really like Jay's musics...not noticing that most of his nice songs contain violin....

Maybe picking up my violin again isn't such a bad idea, something to consider in the future.

Significantly, Weng Tze's flying off to UK on this day...How I miss these ppl...haih....and it will be sometime before I see Weng again as our holidays dont match...Anyway, wish her a safe trip there and have a wonderful time at England.
23rd September: Pei Xian's birthday. If all goes well, my plan should suceed, unless suddenly this girl decides to back out last minute. In any case if she does back out, I'll kill her!!!!

Anyway, let me introduce u the cutest boy I've seen in Melbourne. How he brightens my day when he runs around. Abit naughty but I juz cant help watching his cuteness. Once he threw a tissue on the ground, and I told him, throw rubbish in the rubbish bin!! He took up the tissue, came up to me, and dropped it at my feet!!!! Everybody around was laughing so loud, I juz gave in and threw it away myself. Yesterday, he kept on coming to take our football when we were passing it around. Everytime he grabbed hold of the ball he would take it to the high grass and throw it in there. Lol...sooooo naughty.

Meet Samuel Lam. I juz love his cheeks. Make me wanna pinch it so hard...haha, now I understand why those aunties like to do dat. If u look closely, his hingus is coming out!!! hahahaha...

Ok, so lately i've been addicted to korean drama. If u ask me a year ago, I would say wat man, dun understand wat they talk about wat for watch. Ok, but u noe la, when u've really seen it, ur perception might change.

In my family, I guess u can say I'm the odd one out. Cause of all the diff genre of movies, I really really prefer love stories, I dunno why. Its like if u ask me to choose to watch a tvb drama about scandal or love I would choose love. So despite watching a few tvb series here adi, thx to a fren i got introduced into watching korean series My Girl. Lol, I found it really funny but most of all I got addicted into watching korean series because of the love value. Every korean series is based on love(ok fine at least 90% are) and not much of those detective or gamble or race. After finishing My Girl in 3 days, I chose wat ppl said was one of the all time favourite, Full House. I finished Full House in 3 days -__-"

Took a one day break and then I discovered Wonderful life. If u want to start watching korean series, i recommend Wonderful life, absolutely enjoyable!!!! Now i've started Love Story in Harvard....lol

The one bad thing about korean series is 9 out of 10 of them ends with a not happy ending....WTH is wrong with korean directors!!! such nice series but bad ending. I tell u, i juz cant bear to follow a series and ends with either the guy dies, the girl dies, they both die, one get cacat or they decided to part ways despite knowing they were meant for each other. Believe me, if u follow a show dat long, u would cry with this type of ending. Autumn in my heart was the worst, it was juz too sad(i kinda knew the ending b4 i watched the series, dunno spoiler from where) dat i stopped after the 2nd episode and went straight to the final episode, I juz cant bear with the main girl dying of cancer after so so so so so so so much obstacles to be with the main guy. Winter sonata was suppose to be an all time favourite too but then again, the guy goes blind at the end and i dun wanna shed tears for a movie(Lol, i havent gila gila cry until buckets yet, but man enough to admit I did shed a tear or 2). So now, wat i do is when i choose a series i read the comments posted on the last chapter, and if its a happy ending I would follow it :P

Now to the main point, no love series would be made perfect, if not for the beauty of the leading actress. One thing that got me hooked to the series is dat I rate the main girls from Korea 10 times better than from HK or Taiwan. My goodness they are so blady blady pretty, u watch the show u dun want it to end cos u juz keep wanting to see the girls potrayal. Still dun believe me??
Ok then, i shall put up a few of the most beautiful girls on screen(my opinion la of course)

Song Hye Kyo, main girl from Full House, sad that this is the only series she starred in with a happy ending. She also starred in Autumn with my heart as the main girl which died of leukemia and in the movie My Girl and I in which she dies of......leukemia...lol...I din watch those 2, cos I really cant stand to see such a pretty character die, its so unfair even though its juz a movie.

Jolin Tsai Yi Lin...need i say more?? This girl well knowned for her beautiful overall and singing. One word, hot!!! This one from taiwan la of course (u dunno=noob)To all my long time friends, this girl needs no introduction, my wallpaper girl and to me is the prettiest girl to appear on tv(on 2nd thought, she is one of the prettiest la, but there might be some prettier than her). Ruby Lin Xin Ru, acted in My dunno wat Princess adi...lol and was in Duke of Mount Deer starring along side Dicky Cheung as the smallest wife, which she happens to be the princess, she died in this series...sad :'(

She was telling me bout the bad parts bout the hair cut and how impressed she was in how i covered it up. Hehe, with wax, u can spike anythin...muahhaha, but now its short again, and this time not screwed up. For once, i didnt make a wrong decision with something to do with my hair

This test accounts for 5 marks of the total assesment(sure its not much) but the thing is, its ten multiple choice questions which u can do ONLINE!!! It juz takes half an hr and my frens did it in the commerce computer lab.....TOGETHER!!! lol...they actually did the test then refered to each other to see if it was correct. My my, shudnt Melbourne uni like have enuf brains to change the questions rite but no..wat they did is juz alter the questions slightly.
Example,(this is made up) my 1st frens question let say wud be: If demand for the good increases wat would happen to the price and quantity traded for it. And then my other fren wud get: If demand for the good decreases wat would happen to the price and quantity traded for it...lol same shit juz different dynamics..so yea,we could even do it at home. We can open a book, refer to online forums...juz plain copy ppl's answers and who wud noe how u did the test??
