Ma ma: *speaks in a hainanese dialect*
Me: Ma ma, wo bu hui jiang hai nan hua
Ma ma: bu hui jiang hai nan hua? ni shi se mo ren? ni jiang, ni shi se mo ren
Me: wo se hai nan ren...-____-"
Ma ma: Hai nan ren bu hui jiang hai nan hua, ni de peng you zhi dao, xiao se ni lo
Me: aw.....*at this point I will usually have some excuse to leave the table or my dad will interupt and start talking to her*

My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer's disease for a while now. While it was evident that this day would come, everybody is still caught by surprise when it actually does happen! Among my whole immediate family she is the most distant to me. And during the last few years the disease has reached its higher stages causing her to forget more and more and thus making this conversation as written above very frequent. Hmm...somehow, I wanna hear her say those words "Ni shi se mo ren" one more time...

Death is imminent, it is part of life and it is part of God's plan. There is a higher purpose for it to happen. We mourn the loss but we rejoice this passing on. Bye bye Ma ma....

I just got a msg from my dad...about 2.30am earlier....my grandmother (paternal) has left the Earth..

I wasn't particularly close to her growing up but she is one of my loved ones.

I'm experiencing loss for the first time :(

Next person is a noob!! haha...yea, my OLD sister has turned 24. Long gone are the days where I got physical and hit her, ramming her toe with the door causing her to lose a nail, or even roll over her bed on top of her, pass her and on to the ground...wakaka...anyway, to my dear sis, although there wasn't any big celebration for u, I'm sure got ONE person teman u on ur birthday was good enough hor :P

Yes..after so long, I have nothing to say..

Ok, I think I have like lost the motivation to blog. After so long, I just cant think of what to write about...

Lets start with I have moved to a new place. I'm beginning to grow used to this new place, althought when I first moved in, I have to admit I resented it abit. Its dark and, quiet and there are no taps for the basin, either damn hot, or damn cold!! Lol..but then after a while I got used to it la, besides I have a bigger room now.

Ok class have started, and I have an interesting subject this semester as my elective. Called Riffs: Introduction to the Acoustic Guitar. It is quite interesting as I haven't had formal teaching of the guitar, I just jumped straight into strumming.

Been interested in something new though, clubbing..enough said...

After work at EY, I basically just went nocturnal and enjoyed the last few days of my holiday in Malaysia. I came back at about 4am average every night, frequently playing pool and watching soccer matches at Asia Cafe. But then I had to return to Melbourne and my ideal wasting my life away lifestyle had now disappeared into thin air :( There's no more Astro and have to watch the MU-Inter game tmr on SBS, no more wide screen tv and comfort of my sofa plus the clear screen..
